About Us

The Richmond Hill Skating Club is a non-profit organization run by a Board of Volunteers. We provide accredited lessons to skaters of all ages and abilities at both the recreational and competitive level. We are affiliated with the Richmond Training Centre. The Club is fully sanctioned by Skate Canada and has been serving our community for over 57 years!


Program Registration

Winter 2015 Session: from January 2 to April 2, 2015 (12 weeks)

Please note, registration for our Winter 2015 CanSkate sessions are now full. Information on our Spring 2015 session will be available mid-February 2015.

The Skate Canada membership fee is $33. 

Reminder: Skaters must be registered a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of the first class attended.


Skaters! Please note that there will be NO SKATING from Thursday, January 29th through Sunday, February 1st.

Also, there will be NO SKATING on Monday, February 16th, which is the Family Day holiday.


2015 RHFSC Club Competition

February 7, 2015

On Saturday, February 7th, starting at 3 p.m., we're having our annual Club Competition! This season, the competition will be in an exciting new format where all competitors will be put into one of three teams, each with an equal mix of skill levels. Skaters will compete in individual events against similar-level skaters from the other teams in order to win points for their teamThis is a great opportunity for all our skaters, from CanSkate to StarSkate levels, to try competing for the first time, in the friendly and familiar environment of their home arena.
